The 2004 peewee National Champions

win the Oxford Young Team of the Year award.

A presentation was made on Thursday the 19th of May to the peewees, of a £500 cheque for their magnificent achievements.

If that wasn't all, Mathew won the category for the Young Disabled Sportsperson of the Year, and picked up a cheque for £100 and free membership to Oxsrad.

Aldie came joint second in the Person Contributing Most to Their Sport award.

The awards evening also coincided with the Oxsrad Annual General Meeting which took place before the awards and members from each club were given a raffle ticket. And guess what, Oxford Blues won the raffle! Taking home a further £100 for the club!

There was a write up in the Oxford Mail on Wednesday 25th May.

Not a bad evenings work really!

Well done the Peewees!

(Two years ago, the 2002 Peewees won the same award when they qualified for the European championships. See 2002-PeeWees for pictures of that event.)
