Club Training is situated at a number of sites:
Full body armor is required for Club Training sessions.The club has a number of protection kits available for those wishing to take part. £20 deposit + £1 per session..
A number of informal get togethers are also organised at the above locations.
These informal sessions do not require full body armor, but basic protection is advisable. Although these sessions are organised by the Oxford blues Skater hockey club, only those players covered by their BISHA membership will be insured. Other players should concider taking out their own personal injury insurance before taking part.

These times may shift around according to booking availability. Some Saturdays may advance an hour or be allocated for matches against visiting teams.

As well as these team training sessions, the club organises additional sessions for begginers and improvers.
Kit is available for hire so there's no excuse not to have a go.
Scrimmage session Wheatley SATURDAY.
Session open to the general public 8:30-10:30. Session open to ANY players from ANY club with full kit.

Training Fees.
The training fees are included in the £20 per month club fee. All age groups get at least two hours of training time and all the league games paid for.

This is the main Oxford Blues site for training and friendly matches. It has a good wooden floor, and good viewing area. This site has our club notice board.

Blackbird Leys leisure centre

This site is used for Peewee and youth 7:00-9:00.
This site has a larger (twice as big) sports hall than Marston, and would be more suitable for tournaments. Its has a viewing gallery that overlooks one half of the hall.
Blackbird Leys adult education centre
This wooden floored hall is small, and has climbing bars around the side. It is cheap but allows good training sessions for the younger teams.

Minnows. Monday 5:00 - 6:30

This hall is a good size, has good spectator facilities and now benefits from a wooden surface with hockey marking!
It is used on Saturdays nights for family skating (7:-8:30) followed by a hockey session (8:30-10:00) for up and coming kids. Hockey sticks provided. Click for details
Used for Senior/Junior training on Tuesdays 9:-11:00
Ladies and adult begginers 8:00-9:00 on Sunday evenings.
