In a 4-team league, two teams
have to play twice in a row. The
2:35 and 4:05 slot are a breathing
space for us between those games.
Rules:
2 points for a win, one for a
draw. Placings decided first on points, then on goal difference, then on
penalty minutes, then a toss of a coin.
Ladies and gentlemen aged 30 and
over playing to BISHA rules. 15 minutes each way, running clock. 45 minutes
allowed for each match. One (30 sec) time out per team per period.
Fee for each team to be £70 (?)
payable on the day please.
Could each team please make
available some referees and/or timekeepers.
All skaters are reminded not to
wear skates in the reception area.
This is a friendly tournament
without the sanction of any sports association. All players accept that they
play at their own risk and do not hold any of the organisers or officials
liable for any injuries or loss however caused.
All players MUST enjoy themselves
or at least give do a good impression of enjoying themselves. Those seen to be
miserable, moaning, or generally not entering into the spirit of the tournament
will be ridiculed until they cheer up.

Directions
Wheatley Park sports centre is just
off the A40, signposted to Holton, and adjacent to Wheatley park school.
From Oxford ring road (Green Road Roundabout), Head out on the A40 to
London. The third exit on the left is signposted to Holton and to the Sports
Centre. Turn immediately left (don't go over the A40) after 200yds, the sports
centre is on the right and shares a car park with Wheatley park school.
From London (M40) take J8 off towards Oxford, and take the first
turn on the left signposted to Wheatley. Turn left (Wheatley) to run alongside
the A40 into Wheatley. Stay on this road until a small roundabout. Turn right
signposted to Holton. After 1/4 mile, the sports centre is on the right and
shares a car park with Wheatley park school.
