Around the world in 24 days.
As some of you know, we are off on a world tour for the whole of July. Just to test out what a wired up world we live in, I will be trying to keep the website as up to date as I can and reporting on our progress as we go. With my new trusty wirelessLan laptop and digital camera at the ready.
Its amazing how much you can forget during such a trip. Keeping this website up to date, will also keep my memories up to date as well, so I'm doing it for my benefit as well. When I was a kid, I went camping at Lulworth cove. I kept a diary of that week with diagrams of where we had been and even a tea stain in the book of the tea that I was drinking at the time. I've still got that diary, its amazing how many memories it brings back. So here is my diary of our trip round the world.... without the tea stains.

Leaving Tranquil Oxfordshire for the big wide world.
We're flying out to Singapore for a couple of days to see what this ex-colonial Outpost of the orient has to offer - lots of cheap electronic gadgetry, I'm told. So I should be in my element there.
2nd June: Well we've had our first minor detour already. After leaving the house, Sue realised she had forgoten her glasses and we had to head back home to get them. But, we've got to the airport now at least, and waiting for our flight..
