The SASH Region End-of-Year Presentations

On 27th November 2002, the southern area Skater Hockey league had its presentation ceremony at Farnborough. This followed a day of end of season matches, to complete the years fixtures.

Oxford played two Senior games, a Junior game and a Youth game. Lost, Lost, Won, Won in that order.

The PeeWees have won all their games this season, entitling them to go to the National championships in Torbay this December.

(Sorry about the colour balance on the picture - I didn't have the fill-in flash set for this one)

The Tornadoes Youth team won all but one of their games this season (I still don't know how we lost that one). This means that they also go to the Nationals. In Gloucester this year.

Note Limara and Amy getting in the picture - OK so Limara scored a goal in her first ever Regional match that day, maybe that's why she's so happy.

The Senior team. A fine body of men and women - just not many of them, that's all. They didn't quite make it to the Nationals.

Note Tom making good use of his medal as a make-shift sling. Trying for sympathy I think - well if you must stand in front of the goal, you will get hit by balls!

Easy Picks up his Youth 'Top point scorer' trophy. He started the day needing just one goal to secure the trophy - which ..he got.

Aldie picks up his best award for the best Coach. It was parked outside - its a beauty.

The Junior team. Not going to the Nationals this year - but 2003, just wait and see....

Rachael and Kelly model the latest in medalions. Kelly scored in her first SASH match.

Easy and Doc get their Dream team positions.
